How to change information appearing in the WHOIS of a domain name. Print this Article
Here are the steps to modify the information of a domain (.com, .net, .info, .biz, .org, .CA)
1- Log in to your client area
2- Enter your credentials (email address and password) The email address used is the same as the one you receive the due dates and invoice reminders.
3- Once connected, go to the box where Domains is indicated
4- Click on manage button the domain name you wish to modify.
5- Then, to the right column, click to Contact Information
6- Modify the information of the necessary.
7-Click the Save Changes button
An email is always sent when any change to the domain name. This email contains a simple link that will validate your email address and submitted changes.
This link will not ask you to login! Just click on the link. No other information is required.
IMPORTANT: Remember that if you make a change of contact or email you will not be able to transfer your domain name to another manager within the next 60 days. It will be blocked during this period.
The modifications made will appear in the Whois 24 to 72 hours later.
